There will be a crew on site tomorrow, Saturday, April 9, conducting a variety of tasks throughout the building and across the site.
This coming week the major focus of work on the exterior of the building continues to be the Front Street Sidewalk. Shoring removal is still ongoing on the Front Street edge of the site but is expected to be completed within the next 10 days.
In order to prepare for the construction of the new sidewalk on Front Street, the existing catch basin under will need to be relocated as will the existing fire hydrant. And the remaining sections of the old sidewalk will have to be removed.
On the interior of the building most of the work is focused on finishing the upper floor suites and the suites that were adjacent the hoists (external construction elevators).
NOTE: On April 23 there will be a mobile crane deployed on Front Street East, and a lane closure to accommodate the crane. The crane will be used to install precast sections on the building where the East Tower Hoist was formerly located.
