Mobile Crane on Front St. April 1
A mobile crane will be deployed on Friday, April 1, to remove the last remaining section of the East Tower Hoist (external construction elevator). This will unfortunately involve traffic and pedestrian delays while this work is carried out. There will be paid duty officers on site to assist with traffic movement and public safety. This will be a 1-day operation.

Exterior Work
Exterior work at the St. Lawrence Condominiums is currently focussed on Front Street East. The old sidewalk is being removed in advance of forming and pouring the new, permanent sidewalk. The new sidewalk will significantly expand the pedestrian realm between Frederick Street and Sherbourne Street. Work on the sidewalk is expected to continue through the spring. We will have more updates in the coming weeks on the timing of key pieces of this work.

Glazing (window) installation continues throughout the areas of the building where windows are not yet installed. W also note that a green roof is being installed on the north 2nd floor terrace.
Interior Work
Suite finishing, inspections and fitting out is ongoing throughout the building. The suites adjoining the former locations of the hoists are of particular focus as these are the least finished to-date.
Saturday April 2
There will be a small crew on site this coming Saturday performing a mix of housekeeping and interior finishing tasks throughout the site.

Looking Ahead
In addition to the ongoing work on the Front Street sidewalk, there will be a weekend of precast concrete installation later in April. This will involve a weekend road closure on Front Street to permit the siting of a mobile crane to install precast sections in the area formerly occupied by the East Tower Hoist. We do not have confirmed dates yet, however, we are advised that this likely to happen on April 23 and 24. We will provide confirmed dates and times once we have them.
