Shoring removal has been underway this past week on Frederick Street. This is the first phase of work in the sidewalk reconstruction process. The contractors for the shoring removal will be off the week of October 18. Shoring removal on Frederick Street will resume the week of October 25.
Window installation is almost complete. The final phase of window installation will not get underway until the hoists (external elevators) are removed in approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
Saturday October 16:
There will be crews on site this Saturday working on the interior of the building. There will also be some general housekeeping work conducted around the site. Any external work that may cause noticeable construction work will begin at or after 9 am, as per the City of Toronto standard construction noise by-law.
Week of October 18
The focus of work from October 18 through October 22 will be on interior work, suite finishing, drywall, framing and the installation of kitchens and bathrooms. There will be some exterior landscaping work and deliveries throughout each work day.
