Mid-Week Construction update for 158 Front Street East

Crews on site are currently forming the 26th Floor slab on the East tower and they plan to pour this slab floor on Thursday, April 1. Given that we would expect concrete finishing to go late on Thursday evening, with crane lighting on until the work has been safely completed.

We note too that the forming company is dismantling the cantilever shoring on the West tower which will accentuate the stacked effect of the building as the architects intended.

Exterior window caulking has also commenced on the North/West corner of the building via bosun chair. Swing stages are also installed in the area for window installers to begin their exterior work. Window installation is currently ongoing on the 14th Floor with the 15th Floor due to commence in the coming week, most likely beginning on Tuesday April 6th.

The site will be closed on Friday, April 2nd for the Good Friday Holiday. The site will open on Saturday, April 3rd and on Monday, April 5th.

There is no major work planned for Saturday, April 3rd, given due to the Easter holiday. However, there will be dry-wallers on site to continue their work in the podium level suites. There may also be some general housekeeping and clean-up work throughout the site.
