Given today’s snowfall concrete pours were postponed.
If the forecast for Wednesday, January 27, holds, the construction team will begin pouring the first section of the West Tower’s 23rd slab floor. Concrete finishing work will continue into the evening following the completion of the pour. As we’ve noted previously, the crane lights must stay on while work is ongoing on the tower. Once work is completed these lights are to be turned off.
If the weather holds through the week, we may see the second section of the West Tower, 23rd floor slab poured on Friday. We will post an update on Friday confirming this and looking ahead to the weekend and the beginning of next week.
