Work this week at 158 Front Street East will focus on continuing work on the 10th floor and initial work on the 11th floor. This will involve, forming, rebar (steel) installation, concrete pouring and finishing.
We also expect exterior cladding to continue being installed on the podium levels. This is the precast brick that has already taken up much of the existing facade.
Work is also ongoing on the interior of the building with initial suite layout preparations. As well some of the HVAC and power systems are being installed.
Depending on the amount of work that can be accomplished with concrete pouring during the daytime along with weather conditions (e.g. rain), concrete finishing, which must be done in stages, may continue past 7 pm if required.
We will have an update later in the week regarding work that may be planned for Saturday, 13 and provide an outlook for the following week.
