Work is continuing at 158 Front Street East on the St. Lawrence Condominiums. All work is being done in compliance with Provincial Guidelines. Workers on site have been instructed to practice physical distancing, hand-washing stations have been installed, and conditions on-site are being carefully monitored.
The 8th floor concrete slab has been completed. Work is underway to complete walls and columns rising from the 8th floor to the 9th floor.
As is clearly visible from Front Street East, the pre-cast brick cladding is being installed on the finished the west side of the podium floors from the 2nd floor to the 6th floor. Installation of the pre-cast brick cladding will be ongoing as podium floors are completed.
Forms and panels for the 9th floor concrete slab pour are being raised to the top of the building. Forms and panels will be set in place over the coming days. We expect the 9th floor slab to begin being poured next week.
Saturday Work
We expect that a limited crew will be on site on Saturday, April 4, from 9 am to clear forms and conduct general housekeeping work on site.
