Weather conditions this week has slowed construction progress. Monday’s snow delayed concrete work for a full day. The snow forecast for Friday morning is expected to have a similar impact on work.
In spite of the weather, progress, while slower, continues to be made on the 3rd, 4th, 5th floors and the initial stages of the 6th floor.
We expect crews to be on site this Saturday, December 7 from 9 am. They will be focussed on tearing down forms and general housekeeping work to set up for next week’s work.
The goal for the coming week is to make progress on substantially completing all 3rd floor work, if the weather permits. Simultaneously, work will continue on floors 4, 5, and 6. We expect that concrete finishing work may continue past 7 pm on the days when the weather co-operates.
