This week at 158 Front Street East, work will continue on installing rebar and forming for the ground floor level.
Forming involves setting the wooden forms that shape the floor sections, as well as the column and wall sections. Once the forms are complete, concrete is then poured into them. Rebar is the thick steel wire that reinforces concrete sections. It is set in place prior to pouring concrete.
It is not certain if concrete work for the ground floor will get underway this week or not. We will provide updates as the week progresses.
