Starting this Monday, September 10, weather permitting, the installation of overheard protection hoardings will get underway on the balance of the site, facing Front Street east and Sherbourne Street. It is expected this work will take 4 to 5 days to complete. If weather conditions co-operate, the overhead protection could be completed as soon as Friday. If not the work may continue into the beginning of next week.
As with previous weeks, excavation work will continue through the week. Now that trucks arriving on site can wait to be loaded within the site, there will be far fewer occasions when vehicles will have to wait on Frederick Street to enter the site. Every effort is being made to ensure trucks do not impede traffic or pedestrians, nor block adjacent building entrances.
