Work again continues this week on the staging platform on the east side of 158 Front Street East. The focus of the work this week remains installing rebar, the iron that reinforces concrete, as pictured above and below.
Rebar installation work will again continue all week.
There will also be some light excavation work on the west side of the site, as well as general maintenance and housekeeping work around the site.
NOTE: Last week Toronto Hydro was working along Front Street East, occupying the north lane between Sherbourne and Frederick Street. We had no advance notice of their work. In future, if we receive such notice we will include in our updates.
