This week at 158 Front Street East, the focus of the work will be the continuing construction the permanent platform on the eastern section of the site, adjacent Sherbourne Street. Once completed, this platform will serve as a staging area for construction work over the coming months.
Excavation work will also continue on the west and central sections of the site.
Tie-backs, which are visible along the north wall in the bottom photograph are a key part of the support system for the site. They ensures the perimeter walls retain their structural integrity during excavation.
